 BA contacted by BCRMN about a BC in the Mason City Shelter. Had evaluation done by friend of friend to see if he was a sports dog, turned out to be medium energy dog. Picked up as stray on 22-Sept-2010 in Mason City, IA. Jett is a 8 to 10 month old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who is neutered and up to date on shots. Jett got adopted by Pam and Conner in Murfreesboro, TN on 05-Feb-2011.

BA sent email to resuce that had her on petfinder. Four weeks later BA got email that the owner was going to take her to ARL shelter. BA took her in. Owner surrender. Bred by Steve and Becky Kerns, Clearifield, IA who are irresponsible BC breeders. When I called they would not take her back and her relatives also have known dysplasia. Accepted into MWBCR, BA doing temp foster until foster opens up with MWBCR. Purbred BC, White/Blk, 14 months.

Foster dog with South Hamilton Animal Alliance. Got an email about an Aussie mix female who is spayed/vaccinated. She is from a kill shelter in Norfolk, NE. Very nice dog, 2 to 3 yrs old, Sable color, 51 lbs. Sent email to Lisa Deppe at South Hamilton and they will take her. I drove to Omaha to pick her up.

Foster dog - transferred to MN Sheltie Rescue. Beth Ann got a call from ARL about a BC that they were not going to be put out on the floor. He was an owner surrender, owner kept him tied outside on a chain and had gotten him about 6 months ago from another person.

 Stray at Guntersville, AL animal control. Adopted by Dr. Billings sister, had to PTS due to biting several people. BA broke all her rules when she adopted out Julie which resulted in her failure. Owners never took her to obedience class and let her run wild. BC/Pyrnese, 6 months when rescued, Blk/White.
