2009 National Sheepdog Finals
Klamuth Falls, Oregon
September 22-27, 2009

Cindy Aldridge and I just got back from the 2009 National Sheepdog Finals in Klamuth Falls, Oregon. We had a GREAT time and saw many awesome dogs and handlers. We arrived in Portland on Thursday, Sept. 24th and traveled south to Klamuth Falls. We watched open and nursery competition on Friday and Saturday and then the finals on Sunday. Alasdair MacRae took the Championship with Nap and Reserve Championship with Star. We were honored to see Alasdair's run with Nap on Sunday before heading back to Portland. In addition to the Sheepdog Trial we also visited Lava Beds National Monument and Crater Lake National Park.
