In Memory of my friend Karla Kurth

21-May-1969 - 29-Aug-2009

The morning of the 29th of August 2009 at 10:20am my best friend Karla died unexpectedly of a blood clot. Karla was a volunteer with MNBCR and valued member of the Border Collie rescue community. Her passion was her volunteer work as a foster home, transporter, officer, volunteer coordinator and evaluator for rescued Border Collies and on occasion other breeds. Since beginning her adventures in rescue three years ago she fostered more than 20 Border Collies. Karla leaves behind her two beloved adopted Border Collies, Mickie and Brody. In addition to to her rescue work Karla loved landscaping, decorating, quilting, traveling and chocolate.

Karla had a huge heart, great energy for life and her infectious laugh always made people and dogs smile. The border collie community will truly miss her energy and efforts.

Thank you Karla for being my friend, I will miss your emails, phone calls and our many adventures.
