Adopted by Pam and Conner
in Murfreesboro, TN

Jett was picked up as a stray and spent four weeks in a shelter before being rescued. You would never know this by his bubbly behavior and zest for life. He is affectionate. gets along with other dogs and respects his position in the pack. He loves to tug with a rope, play with squeaky toys, knows his name and has a nice recall.

He is probably a mix between an Australian Shepherd (Aussie) and Border Collie (BC). He has a cropped tail like an Aussie, but everything else is BC. A home with previous herding dog experience is preferred.

In Jett's foster home he lives with two cats and shows interest in them, but will not nip. When the younger one runs he will run after it. Unless your home has dog savy cats a home without cats is recommended.

In the evening and during daytime naps Jett sleeps in his crate. There are no children in his foster home, but on Halloween evening he enjoyed meeting all the kids who came for candy.

Jett has had no formal training and is learning basic obedience skills including housebreaking, he is not 100% housebroken yet. He was tested on sheep and showed confidence and instinct. Jett has medium energy and catches on to new things very quickly. He would make a nice first agility or herding dog or just a family companion. Because of his age Jett still likes to chew and get into things.

Jett is neutered, up to date on shots, wormed, on monthly heartworm prevention. He stands about 19" tall, weighs 30lbs and has a shorter coat.

The adoption fee for Jett is $50 to an approved home.
